Digital Media students bring health campaign to life
Digital Media students have been putting their creative talents to work by supporting an important community health campaign in partnership with the Barnstaple Alliance.
As part of the collaborative project, students recently visited Brannam Medical Centre practices, where they worked alongside clinicians from local GP practices to film a series of patient information videos aimed at raising awareness of high blood pressure.
The project gave students the opportunity to apply the skills they have developed in the classroom to a real-world brief, gaining valuable industry experience while making a meaningful contribution to the local community.
From planning and filming through to capturing engaging content, students demonstrated their creativity, technical expertise and professionalism throughout the project. The videos will help patients better understand the importance of monitoring blood pressure and encourage greater awareness of a condition that often has no obvious symptoms.
We would like to thank the Barnstaple Alliance and the clinicians at Brannam Medical Centre practices for working with our students and providing such a valuable opportunity to showcase their skills while supporting an important health initiative.
